The mission of the Coffs Coast Alesco School is to provide learning opportunities for young people that empowers them to reach their potential in an inclusive and supportive environment.
“As an independent School for Years 9 & 10, we aim to offer all eligible young people the chance to grow and maturewhile undertaking their high school education in a safe and supportive environment” said Principal Carolyn Thompson.
The School operates around mutual respect between Staff and Students as well as adherence to specific rules to ensure the School remains a safe and supportive place for all Students enrolled. “You can see that Students enjoy coming to Alesco and being part of a large family-like environment where they feel acknowledged and welcomed” said Head Teacher Louis Van Dartel.
Our School ensures that Students receive more individualised attention. “We have great Teachers” said Ms Thompson. “Our Teachers are enthusiastic and knowledgeable and they are able to cater and adapt their classes to meet the different styles of learning and to keep Students engaged”. And being in the heart of the City also has its advantages, particularly access to transport.
